We are weeks away from the Second Annual Fiesta Del Sol and WE NEED YOU! Fiesta Del Sol-San Diego is a two-day street festival in the heart of San Diego’s Latino community that celebrates the history, diverse cultures, and empowerment of the people of San Diego. Last year’s Fiesta brought 35,000 people to the streets and this year, we are expecting over 50,000! Our Volunteer Team is a vital group of volunteers that keep the streets clean and safe. We would love to have your organization be a part of this year’s Volunteer Team!

Volunteer Areas

SOL Team
The SOL team is a vital group of youth volunteers that keep the streets clean and ensure that Fiesta Del Sol is an environmental-friendly event through recycling. Must attend training.

10am–3pm 3pm–8pm

Number of Volunteers (20 needed per shift)

Security Team
Join the security team to be the eyes and ears of the fiesta. Keep the event safe. Must attend security training.

10am–3pm 3pm–8pm

Number of Volunteers (30 needed per shift)

Entertainment
Help out at the main stage and/or community stage by registering acts, manning the waiting room, running information, and anything else needed.

Number of Volunteers (15 needed per shift)

Post-Event Breakdown
Help clean the street and pack up certain materials on Saturday night and help break down the event and clean on Sunday night.

SAT 6pm–3pm SUN 6pm–11pm

Number of Volunteers (30 needed per shift)

Parking Control
Help to keep the traffic near the Fiesta moving, directing patrons to parking lots, securing the boundaries.
